————————————————————————————————————————————-     **NOTICE**                                                                                                                                                   Roque Bluffs 2026 Property Tax Bills were Printed with a Mailing Address Error for mailing in your Tax Payments.  The Machias Post Office is doing great forwarding mail, we haven’t had any issues yet.  That Being Said…  Please Reference the Town Office Mailing Address listed at the top of this page.. that is where all Correspondence should be mailed.                      ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________        **NOTICE**  As of Saturday, August 8th, 2026                                                                                                                                                Roque Bluffs Residents will be switching back to Casella Waste Disposal in Jonesboro for all Garbage, Waste, & Debris dumping needs. Household Garbage Costs will still be billed to the Town, all other dumping costs are at the Customers Expense.  Russell Manchester’s Regular Saturday Road Side Trash Pick-Up Services Schedule will not change. You will still be required to use the same Transfer Station Stickers that you’ve already been issued for the year.  If you have not purchased your annual sticker yet, they are $5 & available @ the Town Office.  

-Sorry for Any Confusion this may have caused… there initially was a mix up in communications in terms of costs to the town, switching back to Casella is the best solution to save Tax Payers some money.

Reminders:

-Boat Registrations expire on December 31^st. Excise tax on documented boats is due January 1^st.

-ATV and Snowmobile registrations expire on June 30^th.

-Motorcycle registrations expire on March 31^st.

-Automobile registrations expire one year from the month of issue.

-New Automobile Registrations: New BMV/New To You & Plate/Reg. Transfers are to be Completed @ the Jonesboro Town Office w/Wendy Schoppee.                                             -Jonesboro Town Office Hours:  Mon. 8-4:30 ,  Tues. 10-6 , Wed. & Thur. 8-4:30 , Friday 8-4  … Closed for Lunch.  Jonesboro Town Office Phone @ 434-5141

-Automobile Renewal Registrations:   BMV Renewal Registrations can be Completed through the Roque Bluffs Town Office.                                                          

-Trailer registrations (2000 lbs. and under) expire one/two year(s) from month of issue.

-2024 Property Tax Payments were due February 3rd, 2025.

-2025 Property Tax Payments were due on February 6th, 2026   /   30-Day Property Tax Lien Notices will begin being issued July 2026 

-Monthly Selectboard Meetings:  3rd Thursday of the Month @ RB Town Office @ 5:00 pm..  Unless a Holiday, Date would be Posted.

-Monthly Planning Board Meetings:  Last Monday of the Month @ RB Town Office @ 5:00 pm ..  Unless a Holiday, Date would be Posted
