**NOTICE** Roque Bluffs 2025 Property Tax Bills were Printed with a Mailing Address Error for mailing in your Tax Payments. The Machias Post Office is doing great forwarding mail, we haven’t had any issues yet. That Being Said… Please Reference the Town Office Mailing Address listed at the top of this page.. that is where all Correspondence should be mailed.

Reminders:
-Boat Registrations expire on December 31st. Excise tax on documented boats is due January 1st.
-ATV and Snowmobile registrations expire on June 30th.
-Motorcycle registrations expire on March 31st.
-Automobile registrations expire one year from the month of issue.

-Automobile Renewal Registrations: BMV Renewal Registrations can be Completed through the Roque Bluffs Town Office.
-Trailer registrations (2000 lbs. and under) expire one/two year(s) from month of issue.
-Dog licenses expire on December 31st / Late Fee of $25.00 if licensed after February 1st. New Year Tags become available after Oct. 15th every year. Roque Bluffs Animal Control Officer – Jessica Lewis will now be issuing the Dog Licenses as the Dog Licensing Officer for RB. Dog Licensing Officer Hours Schedule: Dates: Monday October 20th – Friday October 24th Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Place: Roque Bluffs Town Office -Additional Office Hours will be Posted as Soon as it’s Available! -If the Scheduled Hours do NOT work for your Schedule, Please reach out to Jessica @ 207-401-0333.

Please leave bagged trash on the roadside of nearest public road by 8:00 am. Use of trash containers is preferred. Residents are responsible for the clean up of trash scattered by animals.
Residents may obtain a sticker from the town office which will allow them to bring their household waste to the Mark Wright/Casella Transfer Station on Route 1 in Jonesboro. Items which are not considered household waste must be paid for separately. Contact Info. @ 207-483-4444 or www.casella.com
Stickers are $5.00/yr. and expire on December 31st.
RESIDENTS REMINDER: PLEASE BE COURTEOUS, in Regards to the Heaviness of your Trash/Demo Bags. Our Trash Pick-Up Employee has Requested this notice get placed here in hopes it reaches Town Residents. Household Trash Bags are manageable. When using DEMO Trash Bags, these bags can get Very Heavy, Very Fast! Please just use Additional Bags to help us reduce risk of Injury to our Employees!! Thanks!!!!!
